Dairyland Milk Money Program

Together, helping kids in our community.

Dairyland Milk Money

Since the introduction of Dairyland products to Village Food Markets in December 2009, we've teamed up to donate money to local schools. We're proud to offer the full range of high quality Dairyland products and help our schools overcome funding shortages for activities and programs. Milk Money is a great fundraiser for everyone in our community to participate!

Milk Money Pays Out!

We were proud to announce our first payout of over $1500 in March 2010. Subsequent payouts are truly inspirational – and growing. To date the program has raised more than $11,000 for local schools just two years! We are again looking forward to the next payout in March 2012.

More about Dairyland...

In 1914 a group of Vancouver Island dairy farmers got together and created the Comox Valley Creamery near Courtenay. Through the years, this small dairy expanded to serve all of Vancouver Island and in 1946 they opened the Comox Creamery. In 1969 it was incorporated into Dairyland’s operations and moved to their present location in Vancouver in 1982. Since 1914 Dairyland has been donating dairy products to Vancouver Island families, community groups and schools that need a helping hand. Although it’s never enough, we do the utmost to help the communities we serve each and every day. Visit the Dairyland website for more.
